Average Meeting Efficiency

Your efficiency score measures how well your meetings convert time into productive outcomes. This composite score (0-100%) factors in all of the responses from the surveys to provide a comprehensive single measurement.

A higher score indicates meetings that respect everyone’s time and deliver value. Scores below 60% suggest opportunities for efficiency improvement while scores below 30% suggest the need for significant improvement or discontinuing meetings.

Average Meeting Perception

The Average Meeting Perception is a direct average of the question, “Could This Meeting Have Been an Email?” which is asked to all attendees. This is more of a vibe-check than an actual metric, but it is important to understand attendees’ overall perception.

It’s important to understand that you can have an efficient meeting but that may not mean that it shouldn’t be discontinued. Good meetings can be unnecessary.

Addressing core meeting aspects can address this gap but if all other metrics are high and this is still ranking low then a meeting should be given strong consideration for conversion to an email or another format.

It’s important to always remember that the best meeting is no meeting if it can be avoided reasonably.
